Treatments We Provide

  • Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy

We use our ultrasound expertise to inject a solution precisely into the problem veins in a technique called ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy. The solution irritates the vein lining, causing them to shrink and close.

  • Cosmetic Sclerotherapy

Cosmetic sclerotherapy is a nonsurgical treatment for unwanted spider veins. Using a very fine needle, a medication called a sclerosant is directly injected into the spider veins, causing the lining of injected veins to become irritated. Over time, the veins close down and the body absorbs these nonfunctioning vessels. Sclerotherapy has been performed for decades and is very safe.

  • Vein Ablation & Radiofrequency Ablation

Thermal vein ablation is a minimally invasive procedure used to close down problematic veins and relieve the symptoms they cause. Our physicians are interventional radiologists with extensive training and years of experience in ultrasound imaging and image-guided procedures. This means they’re experts at guiding the laser to an exact location- ensuring precise treatment while minimizing complications.

  • Microphlebectomy

Vein ablation is the main treatment for the veins which are the source of the varicose vein problem. However, after vein ablation, the bulging varicose veins may still remain. To complete treatment, those bulging veins may need to be removed. This is done with microphlebectomy. After numbing the area, a series of tiny nicks allows our physicians to carefully remove large bulging veins - ensuring you don't see or feel them again. No stitches are required and the technique typically leaves no scars.
