Rochester Regional Hospitalist Group

Our Rochester Regional Hospital Group is comprised of board-certified internal medicine and family medicine providers who specialize in treating patients during their stay in a hospital. We work in partnership with patients, families and referring physicians to help each patient have the best possible hospital stay — and to stay healthy once discharged.

The Hospitalist's Role in Your Care

Because hospital-based care can be complex and fast-paced, our health system has a team of expert clinicians who focus their practice solely on patients staying in the inpatient units at Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital, United Memorial Medical Center and Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Your hospitalist team members will be familiar with and dedicated to the safest, most efficient, highest quality and satisfying treatment options available. She or he will review test results, consult with additional specialists, answer questions and ensure that you're getting the superior, individualized care that you've come to expect from Rochester Regional Health.

We also collaborate with your primary care physician and other community physicians to ensure a smooth transition of care when you're ready to leave the hospital.
