Care from the Comfort of Home
When it comes to your health, you want the best care possible - the ability to meet with your physician, explain your symptoms, review your medical history, and share important information. Rochester Regional Health's telemedicine services allow you to receive the care you need from the comfort of your home.
COVID-19 Update: Rochester Regional Health's providers can now virtually evaluate and manage patients with symptoms of COVID-19 using telemedicine.
You can access your Rochester Regional Health provider through telemedicine for many types of appointments. Our providers evaluate patients for the following:
Call your doctor's office to get help determining whether telemedicine is right for your current needs, or if you need to be seen in-person.
All patients can easily connect to their physician from their home or other remote location by using the MyCare patient portal on their smartphone - or by using Skype, Apple Facetime, Doximity or Doxy.me on their laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or any device with a built-in camera.
By using any one of our virtual telemedicine services, you can:
A step-by-step guide on how to schedule and join a video visit with your Rochester Regional Health provider, using our RRH MyCare app.
Just like an in-person visit, your virtual visit is secure, private, and entirely confidential. To maintain privacy on your end, it is important that you contact your provider from a private and secure location, like your home. Your home is likely to be the safest place for a telemedicine visit.
Our top priority is to ensure that you and your family receive the best possible care and are well informed about all aspects of your treatment, including your insurance coverage.
Prior to your telemedicine appointment, you should review your insurance plan to make sure your plan includes coverage for telemedicine appointments. Most insurance plans provide some level of coverage. However, you may need to pay some of the expenses, like a co-payment, at the time of your visit.
If you have questions about your insurance coverage, please contact us prior to your appointment to discuss the details of your plan.
